What music do you normally listen to during a test, like bands or genres or whatever.

Um, I was never allowed to listen to music during tests... but I'd suggest post-rock.

You're allowed to do that? That's cool. Listen to Sigur Ros or some orchestra.. it's a cliché (orchestra during tests) but it gets me thinking.

most teachers wouldnt let us do that but my physics teacher doesn't care as long as no on else can hear it.

classical music is supposed to be the best music to listen to when you need to concentrate.

Some kid in my Chemistry class did that last semester, but he was really dumb with executing it. He was sitting in the back, and his cell/pager thing kept beeping really loudly every 2 minutes. While this was going on, people were starting to get frustrated and would look around every now and then to try and figure out where the noise was coming from. Then after about 10 minutes, the teacher was decided to walk to the back and confiscate three kids cells. The goofy kid who was the culprit, kept denying it was coming from him the whole time. She held the phone up for a second, and it beeped really loudly again. Classic.

You're allowed to listen to music during tests? Yeesh.
I would probably listen to instrumental though.

If I had the chance to listen to music during exams, I wouldn't. Cannot concentrate at all when listening to music whilst studying let alone a test.

I'd suggest classical music, but it looks like everyone else has already.

music that is more or less complicated or spacey, post-rock, songs that are pretty overwhelming and hard to take in all at once.

Classical is the only type of music that I could listen to while studying/taking a test and not be completely distracted.

Before I dropped out...
(when someone says that, listen to what they say because they must be smart)

I listened to pop-rock during tests. It's repetitive and easy to understand everything in the song.
While when your playing Death Metal, your not only thinking about your test, but your thinking about the song trying to figure out stuff about it (vocals, instruments, ect.)

Yes. And?

lol, do this if you can.
