Wow! Another week gone by already. I'm so sick of school already...I personally think after 8th grade, everything else is just a waste of time unless you're majoring in computer sciene or math (or something like that). But that's just me, so stay in school!! I watched "The Butterfly Effect" last night, and it was actually a very good movie. Below are some more bands which I love! Maybe you'll discover your new favorite band, but I doubt it. Aloha...

Pepper (http://www.pepperlive.com) - These guys are the next Sublime. Their new album is going to be amazing, and their dub sound is exactly what the music world needed. They are from my hometown of Kona, Hawaii, so I gotta represent!
Three Plus (http://www.threeplus.org) - Three Hawaiian bra's enjoying life and making amazing Hawaiian music. If you're into dub bands like Sublime, LBDAS, or Pepper, then these guys will knock you on your feet. Though they're not as dub influenced, it can best be described as tropical reggae music. And with me living in Hawaii for 10 years, I've got the passion for this kind of stuff!
Beck (http://www.beck.com) - This guy has talent written all over him. If you haven't heard his latest album, Sea Change, then you're definitely missing out. It is a wonderful transformation from his previous material, and I can't wait to hear what he comes up with next.
Patrick Park (http://www.patrickpark.net) - Wonderful singer/songwriter. I really hope 2004 will be the year that people really discover this very talented man.
Adam Green (http://www.adamgreen.net) - Another wonderful singer/songwriter. His indie flavored tunes are definitely impressive, and he's got the experience to do it all (he was in the Moldy Peaches). If you like Ben Kweller, you'll love him!

Pepper is amazing, i saw them at warped tour and was hooked. Sublime is my favorite band of all time, and i would definately say pepper has their sound.

Pepper is one of the most amazing bands making music right now, not to mention they are on an amazing label in Volcom Entertainment. Whether or not you are into the type of music that they make, I promise you will love them. I don't think that saying they are the next sublime is accurate. I think that one day they will redefine the dub style and people will be describing bands as the next Pepper.

Why not make a section on the website called "Recommendations" that way each ABSPunk Admin doesn't have to post each time their recommendations go up. It'd stream things up a bit..Maybe everyones recommendations on one page?

I thought there already was a place like this........if its the same thing your talking about, but if it is......then go to Articles and then it should like pop-down and theirs Recommendations, or go to Forum and a little down the page its on their too.

I saw pepper at warped tour and outside of being complete and total jerks they sounded awful. I will give them another listen when the new album comes out just because I love sublime. But my my they were horrible at warped.

I actually prefer it the way they do it.....I look forward to seein them sittin there in the news on Sunday. Also, it lets me know as soon as they are up. If they were all in one general place you'd have to be checking every few hours to see who has put there's up and who hasn't.

Just my opinion. I just like it like this.

That's kinda a crap statement. Honestly Kamtin's recommendations are typically the only ones I look for. Just preferences man.
