"Not a year goes by, man, not a year where I don't read about some escalator accident involving some bastard kid that could have been easily avoided had some parent, I don't care which one, but some parent, conditioned him to fear and respect that escalator." - from Mallrats, my all time favorite movie. And on that note we'll get to the recommendations for the week.
As I Lay Dying (http://www.asilaydying.com) - Not many hardcore bands can dazzle my fancy, much less get my attention. They actually remind me a lot of Hopesfall and are a must for fans of anything hard and nuts and stuff.
The Crystal Method (http://www.thecrystalmethod.com) - I picked up their new record, Legion Of Boom, this past week and though I didn't like it as much as their previous record, I still enjoyed it. If you aren't familiar with them, they are the perfect blend of hip hop, funk, and rock. I'd suggest you check them out if you are a fan of Head Automatica or blink182's "The Fallen Interlude" or anything you can groove/dance to. Yea, it's a guilty pleasure, deal with it.
Fall Out Boy (http://www.falloutboyrock.com) - I started listening to Take This To Your Grave again and was reminded that they are among the best that pop punk has to offer. It's hard for pop punk bands to stay consistently tolerable and replayable time and time again. If you don't own TTTYG, then die.
Transistor Radio (http://www.transistorradiomusic.com) - Some dude got me to check this band out about a week ago, and I am actually pretty impressed. They have a nice rock sound, that if developed could become something quite stellar.
Light The Sky (http://www.lightthesky.com) - I've enjoyed these bubbas since Mr. Tate discovered them and shared them with us all. Buckle up, cause these guys are the hot shit. They are a genius blend of pretty much every genre that is focused on here at AP and in our scene.

If you haven't seen Mallrats, we can't be friends.
