You can listen to A Crow Left of the Murder, the new album by Incubus right now at MTV.com (http://www.mtv.com/music/the_leak/incubus/a_crow_left_of_the_murder/index.jhtml).

Sorry if this was already posted, but this is a very good record! - KM

i was actually disappointed by this album. Maybe its just cause Im used to hearing the other ones and being blown away immediately like I was with SCIENCE and Morning View. Maybe this one will grow on me. It doesnt sound like any other incubus album though, and thats what they're good at.

I like it, it's pretty much what I expected. If I was to rank all their albums including this one...

1. SCIENCE
2. Make Yourself
3. A Crow Left
4. Morning View
5. Fungus

I listened to some songs ive never been much of an incubus fan, however, tons and tons of respect for making a new album that is different (for the most part) and far more innovative then most of the music on the radio

I loved science and Make Yourself, and when I heard Morning View, I must say i was really dissapointed. But, I like A Crow... they're back on the right track :)

Incubus is definately one of the best bands out there today. Brandon Boyd takes his passion for music very seriously and while he loves his fans he is not one to conform to a certain style in order to please them.

It would have been very easy for them to make a nice mellow follow up to Morning View, but instead they opted to go a different direction yet again. I love each and every one of their albums for a different reason, this one is no different. For Brandon Boyd to go out of his way to learn a traditional Japanese instrument (the Koto) for Morning View is what really turned me on to this band. I was so happy to hear the Koto make a comeback for at least one track on this fine album.

I would also like to say how pleased I am that someone on this AP staff decided to post something not quite of the genre. There is a lot more than punk and indie shit out there. Major props.

That's why Kam is definitely my favorite of the news poster folk.

I have to say though that I am still sort of dissapointed with this newest release by the kiddies in Incubus. All of their other albums I have instantly been really excited about upon the first listen. This one...I've been listening to for about a week and I'm still not feeling it. Granted it's growing on me as I notice more and more things, but overall I definitely think it's a step back for them.

I'd call this their "modern rock" album. It's tremendous when you compare it to a lot of the other mainstream modern rock stuff out there. But for an Incubus album...it's just not as creative and unique as I've come to expect. Hopefully I get more into it as time goes on.

Kam you rule! You have some really great taste in music, this album is amazing and I would love if you were the one to review this album, i know you would do it justice. Brandon Boyd has an amazing voice and great lyrics. This album owns the beginning of this fine new year.
