Below is a full statement from My American Heart (http://www.nwomusic.com) (ex-No Way Out) concerning the recent name change and what's in store for the band:
"We in No Way Out have decided that we will be changing our name to My American Heart. This change is due to many reasons, both legal and personal. We all feel that the title of My American Heart expresses our music, personality, and belief that we have grown significantly over the course of having the name No Way Out. This change will be taking effect in April 2004 with a brand new music release with both brand new songs, and several re-recorded songs from the Certainty Kills ep. We hope you cope with this change, and still follow our music with the love and support you've been showing us for 3 years. We love you genuinely.
- Jesse, Larry, Steven, Jeremy, Clint"
