Easily one of the greatest film series I have ever seen. I adore the pure violence and gruesome deaths. Probably my favorite work of Frank Miller's.

My best friend flipped out on me last month because it's one of his favorite movies and I never saw it. We watched it one night and I loved it.

I used to think it was corny as a kid but watching it now, that doesn't even make sense to me. It definitely has some great quotes too.

Miller wrote the graphic novel and the scripts for the two sequels. I really do not want a remake of this. Terrible idea.
The graphic novel is fucking br00tal.

haha i havent watched these in a while but i remember liking them as a kid. miller's best work? no way. sin city is his best movie and TDKR is his best comic but to be fair i havent read his robocop comics
i dont think miller had anything to do with the first movie

I thought the sequels were pretty good. They don't touch the original, but by no means are bad.
If anyone is interested in the graphic novel, you can download it here:

He didn't. He wrote the second and third. The graphic novel followed.

the second one is great. at the time it came out, i liked it more than the first. not anymore though, but the second one is still fantastic.
the third one isn't even worth watching. fred dekker directed it, and he's fucking great, but it fucking blew. peter weller didn't come back for it and it kinda hurt everything. it fucking blew.
there were like two canadian made for tv sequels or some shit. i never bothered, but i imagine they're fucking dreadful.
