Dammit, they would have been my vote for the cover honestly. They are going to be 163 times bigger than Coheed will.

Not saying Coheed is bad all y'all crazies....I'm just saying that I think Straylight is going to explode like there's no tomorrow.

Do they mention lostprophets btw? They are going to be huge.

I think Straylight are great and that they have extreme potential, the only thing I'm worried about is that this will burn out like TBS did- I understand there were issues that led to that break-up and I don't want anyone to re-hash those events- I'm just saying that if Straylight broke up in 2 years I would not be that surprised-
Regardless they will be huge, very excited to hear what they can put together- piano-rock will blow up in 2004 as well

i don't know about straylight run, they are ok but they sound horrible live. their songs are nice, but quickly get boring. michelle is really hot but live her voice is so annoying, not soft and sweet like on the tracks. i love coheed but their live set sounds exactly like the albums and while it is nice there isn't a whole lot of energy, same with straylight run. no energy. now a band that spurted from another band that you need to check out is nightmare of you, brandon's band. if you don't already know he is from the movielife. rock on dude. don't worry about it, it's just my opinion. i happen to like your posts i just didn't agree with this one. HAHA. Please don't worry about differin in opinion! I'm not gonna attack you for thinkin something different than me! ;-) That's what makes having our own opinions worth while...it's not what everyone else thinks!

I agree that Straylight is pretty weak live. And yeah...Michelle's voice definitely borders on annoying live. Some of that may be attributed to the fact that she's never been in a touring band before and she just needs time, but honestly probably not. I do however think, and I get the impression you are agreeing with me here, that their studio release will be tremendous.

As for Nightmare of You, I haven't actually checked into them yet but I'm sure I'll end up liking them soon. I definitely need some new live acts to check out so I'll check into it!

yeah i phrased that a little weak- i didnt mean the new TBS is burned out, i was referring how the old line-up got fed up with everything and more or less burned out

I think Straylight are awesome live,compared to a lot of bands out there now who suck live.
I don't like Michelles voice live though,It's a bit squaky sounding.Though I'd rather listen to her squaky voice for a song and background singing then 45 minutes of Eisley wailing Torture they dare to call music.
