Sorry to hear this and I hope your Uncles ok. Cancer's some dumb stuff. I hate how anyone can just get it, even if they're healthy and do things right.

sorry to hear that. Every year I participate in Relay for Life to raise money for cancer research. so one day hopefully we find a cure.

Cancer is pretty rough. My grandfather was just diagnosed with prostate cancer, so I understand what you are going through to a degree.

Is there anything that they can do for it outside of the normal cancer treatments?

Hearing someone in your family has cancer is possibly some of the worst news you can ever hear. My aunt was recently diagnosed with cancer, aswell as my friend's dad. I hope your uncle gets better.
And, would it not be called like, bladder cancer? Not urinary?

the only person i know of in my family to have had cancer was my great-grandfather. but he was diagnosed when he was about 98 and lived to be 101 so it wasn't a big deal to anyone.
my next door neighbor was recently diagnosed with lung cancer, though and she's going through chemo. i think today was her last treatment since they caught it very early. i hope she's okay although the chemo usually leaves her feeling really sick for a few days.

It is hard but you need to remain positive. I am sure it is pretty rough on you, but find something good and hold on to it. Think of a favorite memory of your uncle and when things get bad thing about that. You just need to find something happy to hold on to.
