Sorry about the server crap over the weekend, but recommendations live on no matter what, so here you are folks.
Midtown (http://www.midtownrock.com) - It took me a while to get used to this new song you can download EXCLUSIVELY here at ap.net. (haha gosh i love being in love with us) Anyway, it took a few listens, but I'm really digging the new Midtown. Who knows if this is what they've become or if this was just an experimental song or what but it's good. If you didn't like it, maybe try it some more, cause thats what I had to do and now I've realized its damned impressive.
Nightmare Of You (http://www.nightmareofyou.com) - Brandon of The Movielife and Brian of Brand New would naturally make something awesome by collaborating...and that's what this band is. I've definetley become addicted to the 3 demos available at their site.
Mae (http://www.whatismae.com) - Truly fucking awesome. I've had Destination: Beautiful for some time now, but it sat in my swamp of cds for ages without me really caring about it. I decided to change that and now I've realized this cd was one of the best released last year. These guys need more love than they are getting I think. They sure aren't for everyone, but they are incredibly talented.
Co Walker (http://www.cowalker.com) - Formerly Je Souhaite/Thirteen Over Eight/I In Team/One Breath. These guys are amazing..sheerly amazing. I am really really impressed by this band and if you are with labels or what have you, I urge you even more to check out this band. There site has a new acoustic song up for DL in the media section that i've been listening to way too much that its almost unhealthy. But check out the full band song, cause thats astoundingly great too.
Style Over Substance (http://www.styleoversubstance.net) - Their EP was just released on Radio Breakdown and it's a tight EP, i def recommend you pick it up. They are a good indie rock band on their way up in the biz.
