I bet that some of the people that were complaining about the Tennessee video by the Republican committee will back this one up, even though there isn't much of a difference.. One party stereotyping the other.

yes, we need more racist free marketers in office.I'm not going to defend racism, and I'm not going to say Ron Paul is racist because of that article that was in his newsletter or whatever. I wasn't around for that, I've heard both sides, I frankly don't know. I guess my question is, in regards to Ron Paul's position and his "racism": if his ideal government would not have the government interfering with people's lives and allow them to do what they feel they should do, how would racism factor into play if nobody is being treated better or worse?

um, maybe because a racist in office would implement policies that would be harmful to minorities.
Because it would be a continuation of the failed and downright horrible Bush policies on domestic and international issues.

This is an entertaining video, but it's full of crap.
Since when does being for capitalism mean you have to hate local retailers? Since when does voting Republican mean your school system will suck more? Have any of you guys look over here at California, which is extremely liberal, and seen that our school system is second to last in the nation? In fact, the top public school systems in the nation consistently include Arizona, Florida, Texas, Virginia, and various other conservative states.
We need more minorities in prison? What?! Where did that one even come from? Hybrid cars suck? Texas needs more billionaires? The world being run by one big corporation? Where are you guys getting this stuff?
Entertaining, yes, but how many Republicans do you really know who feel this way about everything? Dear lord. I don't even consider myself to be a Republican, I hate Bush, and I like Obama, but it is still a very, very sad day if people actually think that conservatives are accurately described by that video.

Wow, I would like to see some source for that. I was reared and was skooled in Texas. We were always the 2nd from the last in terms of public school system from what I remember. George W's 'no kid left behind' started first in Texas when he was governor. It didn't work at the state level so he took it national. Go figure.

According to NCES (http://nces.ed.gov/), top ten states include Virginia, Texas, Kansas, and South Dakota... all in the "above average" category. Mysteriously in the "below average" category (meaning not even in the middle, but the bottom) include New York, California, and Rhode Island, or otherwise 3 of the top 10 most liberal states in the country.
And according to Newsweek (http://www.newsweek.com/id/39380), the best public high school in the country is in Arizona, two of the top ten are in Texas, two are in Florida, and one is in South Carolina.
From personal experience, my middle school in the center of Arizona was a hell of a lot better than my supposedly amazing high school, which was located in the Silicon Valley in California.

That would have been an interesting election seeing as Liberman endorsed McCain.
Like someone said earlier, I think I'd really like McCain as a person. He's got his head on straight and is admirable. It's just he seems to be buckling to the pressure of his party instead of standing by what he thinks is best.

I'm seriously not trying to argue or bust your balls here. But I think that we can both agree that even the worst state could have one of the best schools (especially a state as big as Texas). I couldn't find where NCES ranked Texas in the top ten. I looked all over the website the first time that you mentioned it and when you provided a link. It ranks a lot of different things. I was wondering what, in fact, made Texas in the top ten. Was it % that completed high school, % that went to college, the average sat/act score, student to teacher ratio, etc.? Possibly a combination of everything?

Agreed.
I could just as easily make a movie with every inaccurate Democrat generalization.
I'm voting Democrat because I hate our men and women in the military.
I'm voting Democrat because I think the Spotted Owl has more of a right to live than my own children.
I'm voting Democrat because why shouldn't we just open the borders and give those poor people jobs? After all, they'd just be taking them from all those rich, white, racist Americans.
I'm voting Democrat because having extra-marital affairs with a young intern sets a much better example for our nation's children than trying to keep families together.
I'm voting Democrat because I know I don't actually deserve to keep more than 40% of the money I make.
And that's just off the top of my head. This video is generalized, misconceived, nonsensical bullshit, just as much as this equally-valid bullshit that I just wrote above.
