If this has been done before, my bad sorry.

I was wondering what artists you guys think have put out a handful of albums that have an excellent closing track.

Alkaline Trio is my pick, as I was listening to them and realized that they almost always close their albums with good songs. Sorry About That on Goddamnit is one of the better tracks on the entire album in my opinion, and a great acoustic song. Maybe I'll Catch Fire ends with Radio which is a fucking classic in my eyes, and the eyes of most Alkaline Trio fans. Crawl on From Here To Infirmary is just one of many awesome tracks on their best album I'd say. Good Mourning ends with Blue In The Face. I didn't get near as into that album as Maybe I'll Catch Fire or From Here To Infirmary, but it's still a solid album and that track does more for me than any of the others. Finally, the last track on their new album, Agony And Irony is rad after just one listen.

So the only one that I didn't care for was the final track on Crimson, which was just a shit album in my opinion.

What other bands or artists do you guys think follow this trend of ending albums with a gem of a track?

Ouch

Because Syke! Life Is Awesome.

And Smoke is probably the best song on Crimson.

I don't know of an artist or band that writes closers anywhere near Beam's caliber. Genius.

relient k. namely When I Go Down and Deathbed. Deathbed is as good as closing tracks get.

and for more traditional christian music fans, David Crowder Band is a goodie as well.

I find it interesting Jesse counts off at the beginning of the last track on each album.
Great songs though.

^^ Yeah. And Evanescence.

I need to find new bands. I don't listen to a lot of bands actually, usually just the one that's my favorite at the time plus the alternative radio station and a few of my other favorite songs.

I think it's just because they are acoustic, well Handcuffs is too in the beginning for the most part.
But I agree with this, I like how each song winds you down from the album.

No disrespect to any of the other acts mentioned here but Iron & Wine is THE answer.
