It doesn't really but if sucks when it is awful. I really don't care for the cover of Clients by The Red Chord at all, but musically it's a fine album.

Only in the case of Remains by Alkaline Trio. Which I bought anyway, haha.

only if it's an impulse buy.
It affects, but I buy albums with crappy art all the time.
Yes. And?

No.
Probably not if your the type of person who can live without a certain album's artwork in itunes.
I am definetly not that guy.

No, not at all. I couldn't care less what the album art is like as long as the music is good.

Not usually. But, sometimes it does, like if I don't like the album that much in the first place and it has crappy art, I'm not buying it.
I rarely buy random albums, so no. If i know, that the album features awsome songs, i'll get the album despite the awful awrtwork

No, but I do find a lot of music through album covers. If I see a cool album cover, I check out the band.
No, but if the cover is really rad, I'll probably go home check them out, if it's quality I'll make sure to buy it.

Not even a little bit.
It does when I'm out looking for new music in Best Buy without having heard the band before. Found some great shit like that, also found some coasters as well.

If it's a band that I really like then album artwork doesn't really come into play when I buy the album. I'll buy it even if I hate the artwork. If there's great artwork then I'll be more inclined to pick it just because I'm kind of an art geek. But when I buy music I focus on the music, not on what the cover looks like.

It shouldn't but if you don't know the band before you buy the cd then it probably will

Nope, not at all. I usually buy my music digitally anyway, so album art isn't very important to me.

Wasn't that the question thing in alternative press? Hmm. (PS. affect)
I... don't usually let it affect me. If I like the band I'll buy the album no matter what. But I think album art says a lot about a band, if not that particular album. So sometimes I'll pick up an album that has incredible artwork even if I've never heard of the band. But usually I'll go home and look them up before actually buying it.

Could be the worst album art I've seen in a long while.

No, it doesn't affect me unless it's a bad i've heard of before, but never checked out. The album art sort of gives me motivation to check out the artist and see if its worth the buy. So no, it can't really convince me to buy it on the spot, but it helps a bit in the long run.
I buy a cd for the music, and thats all that matters, but the art is what causes me to grab a cd in the first place sometimes, so yes.
