It has been a bad year so far but i am looking forward to Saves the Day, Bayside and GlassJaw. I would have to say my favorites so far this year have been Death Cab and Coldplays new albums. Weezers was the biggest disappointment to me. The Mars Volta was also pretty solid.

I read alot of interviews before the release of Ringleader with Moz and Boz both...both of them saying how great it was...and how it was *the most beautiful thing they have ever done*. So maybe that set it up for a fall for me?
Also, I think the production on the album is complete horseshit. None of the songs stick out to me. Most of it just sounds like typical Moz but its lacking something...it seems boring and contrived but thats just me.
Im still looking forward to the new album though. It's still Moz.

Fair enough. I thought the production on Ringleader of the Tormentors was much better than that on You Are The Quarry. That is one thing that worries me about Jerry Finn doing production on Years Of Refusal. Anyway, "I Will See You In Far Off Places," "Life Is A Pigsty," and "At Last I am Born" are some of my favorite Moz solo songs recorded - at least post Vauxhall And I. And with the release of recent songs such as "All You Need Is Me" and "My Dearest Love," I know this man is still capable of creating a brilliant piece of music.
