These guys are going to be so amazing. They already sound better than most signed bands in my opinion.
I can't wait for their full length. They should be touring with chiodos, protest or coheed, unlikely to happen but they are too good.

Wow, this band is far superior to such mediocre Canadian bands as The Weakerthans, Broken Social Scene, Stars, etc. etc.

Haha, I think they're okay. I personally don't dig any of those bands but I suppose that's why we don't sound anything like them!. Maybe not the best in Canada but I'd like to hope we're doing something worth talking about..

Same old, same old. Whoever said they were the best band in Canada, I suggest you pick up an album by The Weakerthans, Propagandhi, The Subhumans, or Comeback Kid before making that claim. All of the bands I've mentioned have had a much larger impact on the music scene around them than the band you recommended. This band has potential but they are not the best band in Canada by any measure, whether it be musicianship or originality. Posting a statement like "Best band in Canada" makes the band seem a little over their head and is not good promotion IMO.

Hey there Macabre.. it's a post. They are a band that I heard and effin loved right away. Yes it's a bold statement but give them a few years.. all the bands you mention have been around for many many years.. of course they have a bigger impact on the music scene. And I beg to differ my friend.. far from same old, same old. If you take a look at the majority of what gets buzz on AP it's pop punk.. which is so similar from band to band. These guys have talent.. not your average band at all. Point being I thought a few people here would enjoy them and I think they deserve more attention. In no way do I think that any of the bands you mentioned are the best bands in the Canada, and I don't think Lexington is at this point either. But your right..they definitely have potential to be one of the best. Music is subjective, I like oranges.. you like apples, we both like fruit!
