okay have you guys seen this vid? in my opinion, not sure if this was intentional but it totally looks like a rip of brand new's sic transit vid.

the lamb, the whole ryan running through the streets, the same camera angles, ryan wearing the same kind of suit and tie...

and the LAMB!? i mean, it's the same lamb. the same. jfsdahl. i don't get it.

once you get past the sic transit similarities, i think the video is awesome. it's much better than way away

Check out the Yellowcard message board on their site. Ryan posted a message that explains the similarites. Supposedly, the lambs (and the contents of the breifcase and the bar and the girl) are supposed to represent the same thing in Sic Transit and Ocean Ave. They don't make anything obvious...it's a viewer interpretation sort of deal, but the first time i saw the video, i was confused too. Fortunately, Ryan Key posted a message to help me understand the whole fucking thing. all i know is that i don't want to run across that lamb in my daily adventures...it seems to cause a lot of ruckus!

i love that video. i like how Ryan has three tries to catch the girl while LP and Sean are chasing him. And the number on his jacket changes for each try, like a video game. I think it's fun to watch. And the lamb and everything are similar to "Sic Transit Gloria" because they were done by the same director. :)

i really like that vid but after seeing it on mtv it kinda ruined it for me. if you ask me, the vid for powder by yellowcard is alot better. oh and sic transit gloria's vid owns all other videos by far.

yeah powder is a really good video but i think mid way through it,its a bit lame.i didnt really notice the simiralities between brand new and yellowcard but now you mentioned it i do see them,though i reckon both are wicked,way away was really boring.

I'm not a big Yellowcard fan but I like the video a lot (even though I've seen it 10000 times) and I'd rather see that on TRL than Evanescence or something like that.
The lamb thing does make sense now that I realize it's the same director. Does anybody know the director's name? Cause "Sic Transit Gloria" is amazing and I was wondering what else they have done.

Great video for a great song.

The Way Away song, doesnt do them justice at all. Ive not got into it ever since it was released, the weakest song on Ocean Avenue i felt. But that just seems to be me :(
