The Postal Service have just released a new video for "The District Sleeps Alone Tonight." It's quite an interesting video and you can view the whole thing over at mtv.com (http://www.mtv.com/bands/az/postal_service/artist.jhtml). If you haven't heard it yet, check out their debut album, Give Up.

By far one of the most beautiful and amazing music videos I've ever seen.

this isn't a new video. it was on mtv.com's indie section when they were showing the best videos of 2003 from each genre.

How come I'm the only one who hadn't seen this video? I used to see "Such Great Heights" all the time but I never even heard they made a new one! Oh well, my campus video station apparantly plays it constantly now so I look forward to seeing much more of it.

I love that song too. I really hope postal service puts out another release. I mean..how could they not? This one was huge. I'm sure they'll have to do another. :)

One of my favorite bands. I tried to find more synth bands or whatever u call TPS, but just couldn't find anything that measured up. Great band, I also hope they come out with another release.

I thought they were being forced to change their name?

yeah, that too. so basically, there is no second album. that was it from the postal service we know. so now its conor and jimmy under a whole new name. it sucks cause ben and jimmy made some good stuff but whatever.

i love conor, but ben has such a great, calming voice. it won't be that good without him.
