I Don't Think We're In Kansas Anymore

The wind blows in seperate directions
Carrying my legs away from yours
This whirlwind has caught me weakened
(AROUND AND AROUND AND AROUND)

My eyes go dark, but they never close
They search through the clouds
Filled with debris and dead leaves
For something just to hold onto

Your voice is a bloody scream in the distance
And my heart pumps anxiety through my viens
For this is not how I wanted the silence
To be shattered...

Where has time taken you?
The clocks tick with guilt
Is the hourglass almost empty
Or is there more hope in this vial

Through the smoke that rises
From the car engulfed in flames
I see my reflection of your face
(AROUND AND AROUND AND AROUND)

My arms bleed needles and regret
Not believing in the wings of angels
So you might save me once more
From this horrid spin cycle

My lungs collapse from the pressure of breathing
And the foundations of this life crumble
This is not how I wanted the silence
To be shattered...

Where has time taken you?
The clocks tick with guilt
Is the hourglass almost empty
Or is there more hope in this vial

Around and around and around...
(AROUND AND AROUND AND AROUND)
Every minute, every second...
(AROUND AND AROUND AND AROUND)
How far has this taken you?
(AROUND AND AROUND AND AROUND)
How close is this bringing us?
(AROUND AND AROUND AND AROUND)

How far has this taken you?
How close is this bringing us?
Around and around and around
Is that your face I see?
Is that you name I hear?
Or is that just silence again?

saving face
