View Full Version : Good CDs so far on 2008?!?
Hi guys.
It's been a long time since I've logged in here and also it's been a long time since I bought a CD. I think the last one was either Kill all the House Lights by Thursday or Career Suicide by A Wilhelm Scream.
Can you guys chime in and let me know what good CDs have been released this year.
It doesn't matter which genre, just something to hold my attention while working! ;)
(and yes, it's not that I'm a lazy ass and I don't want to look for reviews, is just that I don't have the time.. sadly! :().
Anyway, any one who can help, it will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
P.S. Listening to the Ace Enders CD, it's not that bad... still has the same I can mess/Early November vibe.
check.!

Therefore, for that statement, I must fart on your head.

1. People are entitled to their opinions, just the same way that you are (you're not a special gift from God or anything)
2. So, you're saying that everything you've ever liked you've done extensive research on before proclaiming you like it? You don't just say "hey, thats a good tune, I can dig that" and then go look them up.? B/c, honestly my radio doesn't just spit out the name of every band that comes on the radio much less the title of their albums
3. (just to add to this list) Being a smartass is not original...

3. Your music taste is original. Oh wait...
1. Don't need your forgiveness. I'm not apoligizing for liking a band
2. I wouldn't admit to that...makes your look incompetent
3. Think about this: Can anybody really have an original taste in music, unless they create a genre themselves? Every band out there is listened to and liked by two or more (usually the latter) people, therefore automatically making it and "unoriginal" taste. Especially when bands get mainstream, which I can't help.
This is seriously childish, members on here should feel free to express their opinions and rejoice in their music. I know that bashing members music tastes is probably the only fun you get out of life, but my god dude, try another hobby

I've read your convo and if you want to be on this site, you gotta learn to live with the backlash when you like subpar bands. It sucks but thats the way this site works.. don't waste your time arguing its futile.
