I'm surprised that people actually spend a little bit of time toasting them. I think I've done that once and that was the first time I ever had them when I was 10 or so. Glad to see people keep the tradition alive though.

The last time I toasted my pop tart, which was about ten years ago, I managed to burn the fuck out of my tongue. So due to the fact that I have been traumatized for life against toasted pop tarts, I eat them untoasted.

I eat them without toasting them - warm filling doesn't taste right.

Also, the only kind I can tolerate are the blueberry, they used to have some that changed color when you microwaved them that tasted like a vanilla-blueberry mix, but they discontinued it...
