Straylight, SoCo, .. The Used?!?

The Used will start recording their next album in mid-March with John Feldman in Los Angeles. The band is currently at home in Utah where they are writing for the record. The album is due in June or July. On an interesting note, it's being said the album will be more "piano based." I hate this yet i like it.

I wish the used owuld become More intense on there next, but what band ever does that? i love piano based music and i like bands that mature there sound or progress into different teritory, but bands need to get the fact that becoming mature doesnt mean having more soft medolic piano songs, you can mature in many other ways. I like the used i lvoed box full of sharp objects tehy were fun when they went crazy, but i also like piano based music, my problem with this is that for once i want to see a band become more agressive on there 2nd album. i dont get it i just dont

I think their new album is going to be awesome. They got in when the screamo/singing thing was relatively young. I highly doubt that Bert is going to have any interest in writing songs that are now super trendy. And based on songs like Blue & Yellow, I think they have the talent to do somethinga mazing with this next album.
