I can't think of anywhere else to share this story, so bare with me here...
So, I don't know how many people here are familiar with georgia, let alone Athens...but on Saturday night I was downtown with a couple of friends at 8E's bar. I went to get a drink, and when I turned around I suddenly saw Ryan Key! I did a double take, as I obviously was NOT expecting to see anyone remotely famous at a random bar in athens.
But sure enough, it was him...we talked for a little bit about YC, and sure enough he was pretty upset about the "reunion" show that went down in Jacksonville a while ago. I asked what the chances were of them getting back together, and he said it was "no looking good at all". So...that was a bummer. :(
I also asked him about Lights and Sounds, because I LOVED that album even though a lot of people (especially here on ap.net it seems) couldn't stand it. He simply said, "a lot of KIDS didn't like the album"...which is why I guess they tried to switch it up for paper walls.
Anyways, that's my story. I was definitely very, very excited to say the least!
