You don't actually believe that do you? I guess your sense of music history is warped then. Sure they're partly responsible for the fusion of metal, punk, hip hop and alternative in artists like Beck, RATM, The Roots and Primus but have you ever listened to the Beasties followed by crap like Korn or Limp Bizkit? If so, you'd recognize that the psychadelic samples and beats in Paul's Botique in particular are so far beyond what those bands do that you seem really stupid for noting the similarities. Obviously, you have no appreciation for the Beastie Boys. But before you pop in your Senses Fail cd, you should at least not be ignorant as to who you're bashing.
