I love ATFEH, but I have to disagree with you on the original part. There are many bands with their type of sound. But it doesn't matter if they're redefining any genre or anything. They are still making amazing music.

Just because they have a violin, doesn't mean it sounds like Yellowcard. Yellowcard isn't the only band that uses a violin.
