Another week gone by. Summer is getting closer and I can't fuckin wait! No shows last week, but this week will be uber. My friends finally get back from tour tommorow, so it will be nice to see their sexy buns again with Gatsbys American Dream (greatest band, ever!) Who else loved last weeks episode of 'The O.C.'? I know I was way jealous of Seth hooking up with Summer (she's so fuckin sexy!). Oh yeah, Tuesday I finally get to see MeWithoutYou! It's gonna be breathtaking! Well, enough about my boring life. These are bands I love. I hope you love them too. Much love...
Fine China (http://www.finechina.cc) - I know they got dropped from Tooth & Nail Records, but I'm desperately trying to find out if they are still a band or not. They're albums are amazing and everyone should check them out if you already haven't.
The-Pits (http://www.the-pits.com) - The new EP rocks your ass off!
Tears For Fears (http://www.sonymusic.com/artists/TearsForFears/) - By far my favorite band from the 80's. They are finally recording a new album with the original line-up, so I can't wait!
Vanessa Carlton (http://www.vanessacarlton.com) - Beautiful and musically talented. You can't ask for more.
The Evan Anthem (http://www.theevananthem.com) - If you haven't already heard this band, please do it right now! Lets get rowdy...

Check These picks out
Sparta (Wiretap Scars) - This is one of the greatest bands out right now. This album was awesome. I will actually defend that these guys are better than At The Drive In, they have such an awesome sound. I can't wait for the new album to drop this year. They are such a great band. www.spartamusic.com
Monday in London (The Big red Machine) - These guys are awesome. The vocals are crazy and they have talent. Check em. www.mondayinlondon.com
Mesawest (demos) - These guys are freaking amazing Everyone should go check them out. Seriously Go take a listen, and they are playing a show with Fire When Ready (the band that Nick from the junior varsity picked.) Everyone either go to this bands show (because they have an awesome live show) or buy their cd online when it comes out.

The Juliana Theory (Demo) - I love that new song(My heart is a soldier) it is sooo awesome. I just want to see how the next album will turn out like. This is an album to anticipate for in the coming year. www.thejulianatheory.com
Off The Record (Nothing New) - This is such a great release for this band. They have such talent and we are going to see what is going to happen to these guys in this coming year. They will blow you away. They mix these you did not even know possible (metal/pop/punk). But melodic punk is their main influence. They just were on the Purevolume freont page .

The Weakerthans- They probably released the most underrated album last year.
www.theweakerthans.org
The Promise Ring- It's sad that these guys broke up considering how good their last release Wood/Water was.
Denver Harbor- Anyone who liked Fenix TX's last release Lechuza will love this band. Features Will and Chris from Fenix TX. www.denverharbor.net
Death Cab for Cutie- Their old stuff isn't recognized as much as it should be. www.barsuk.com
Every Time I Die- Best metalcore band out there. www.everytimeidie.com

thanks for reccomending Ariel Kill Him, I downloaded some of his stuff and like whoaa its really good. I think everybody should listen to the Format they are good stuff. :-) and Pedro the Lion because they are just too good. I think they have a new CD coming out sooon.
I absolutely loved the Weakerthans album. Definitely one of my top 10 of 2003 for sure.
And yeah, Pedro the Lion has new material coming out soon. I have a friend who goes to school and knows him in Florida, and she says that he has been demo-ing a lot of his new stuff at small shows around town and that it's tremendous. I can't wait personally.

According to Ronnie Martin who produced thair first album, Fine China is no longer together. Weaksauce.
I reccomend you listen to
1. The Postal Service - Ben has done it again, Death Cab For cutie meets a techno machine, but with no techno music. Yes im confused as well just listen to them
2. The Fall of Troy - You people need to hear these guys. There sound is super hard to describe. They cause chaos like the blood brothers, except with a little but more structure if that makes any sense. And they have some awesome guitar parts. http://thefalloftroy.com/
3. The Good Life - these guys are super under rated
4. The Locust - they bring more chaos then the blood brothers, yes my friends that is possible. Qoute from one of the band members "I dont know if we are making music, or destroying it"
5. Copeland - everyone needs to lsiten to this band. They make beautiful music.
6. Underoath - the new album will rock
