I don't believe in evolution...

Evolution.

Yes. And?

I thought this was about what should be taught in schools. Intelligent Design is a silly term either way.

Evolution. I did a paper on this. I think some people need to realize that believing in evolution isn't denying the fact that God created humans. I mean, I'm an atheist, but I know plenty of Christians that think intelligent design is B.S.

I like to think that God put those extremely simple life forms on our planet and that they evolved according to His plan.

i wouldnt accuse anyone who believes in evolution of being racist, but darwinism is about as racist as it gets, check out the unrevised Origin of Species, his viewpoints towards africans and how they fit in his theories are pretty enraging, he might as well had been wearing white sheets.

Well Adam and Eve + all their kids were white, so...

Both because I think God influenced evolution and the Big Bang to get us on our present course.

Sorry, I was thinking of the paintings on the Sistine Chapel ceiling. My bad.

The question would be what color is God's skin, seeing that Adam was created in his image.

Darwinism in itself as a theory is not racist. Darwin however was, as was the case with many in society at the time. If someone who is not racist interprets Darwinism they will do so in a non racist way.

Intelligent design. I really don't understand how people can believe that such a ridiculously complex universe was created from a huge eplosion. Everything just magically came together so that life could exist. And that life that exists was apparently created from nothing?

You clearly don't understand the theory of evolution if that is what you think. Also, even your interpretation of evolution, which is wrong, is more likely than a magic man creating everything for fun.

I just think its such a cop out. I feel like the majority of people who declare themselves agnostic are just doing it as a way of avoiding making a real decision about their beliefs. Most people I've talked to that call themselves agnostic seem to have no understanding of religion or atheism, and that is the reason they've turned to agnosticism. I'm not saying that is true for all agnostics, just the ones I have talked to. I also don't appreciate being equated with fundamentalists because I am an atheist, which has become the main agnostic argument, saying the fundamentalists and atheists are both just fanatical sides. It might be the dumbest argument I have ever heard in my life. I just don't appreciate people who play the fence. And I feel like agnostics are doing just that, that way they can be right no matter what happens. If there is or isn't a god. They win. And that is as cheap as it gets.

Intelligent design. I really don't understand how people can believe that such a ridiculously complex universe was created from a huge eplosion. Everything just magically came together so that life could exist. And that life that exists was apparently created from nothing? No, the big bang was actually a complete expansion and re-organization of the matter that already existed.

According to Intelligent Design, then, yes, that life was created from nothing tangible, i.e. an idea.

So essentially you just blew your own trumpet

Note the words 'Everything just magically came together so that life could exist.'

You can't be serious.

Question: Where did God come from? Where did he live before the universe if there was nothing?
