They have three solid records but I think Say It Like You Mean it will make you appreciate their other records more.

yeah definitely start with say it like you mean it. that's what we all started with and it's what initially got most people who listen to them hooked. it's still my favorite summer album and one of my all time meaningful records... but yeah surprise surprise is a great song. one of my favorites off BOATS

-With Hopes of Starting Over EP
-Make Yourself at Home EP
-Based on A True Story
-Direction

I think in that order you can appreciate the growth and difference of every song.

Based On a True Story is still (and probably always will be) my fave album.
