Blindside (http://www.blindside-silence.com)'s new record, About A Burning Fire, sold 11,000 copies the day it hit store shelves, which is awesome considering they had virtually no help from radio or MTV. The record is definitely awesome and I'd suggest you go out and pick it up if you haven't.

i saw a commercial on mtv 2 for it.....retard
but its not like the played shit out of the video though
Uhhhh, showing the commercial is not "help" from MTV. It's a commercial paid for by their record company.
Help from MTV would be: features in their news, playing their video, etc.

I bought it the day it came out.

i bought it, and after the first few listens, i gotta say i'm kinda dissapointed. its alot more generic nu-metal-ish than the last one, which actually had edge and more rock to it. but all it all it still beats most of whats out there in the mainstream right now.

I actually think its an awesome record, I wasnt a real big fan of their last record but I liked the one before it, A thought crushed my mind, but the new record is really really good. I'd recommend it to fans of harder stuff like thrursday, thrice, etc.

Not as good as "Silence"...but still very good. Alot more experimental...The title track rocks.

I love SILENCE but this one is also very good. It is gonna take some listens to get used to, but it is still great...especially the track with Billy Corgan. I love that guy.
