Former Pop-Punk band Blink-182 were recently in the media this week.+44 guitarist Craig Fairbaugh announced that the band (+44) is currently writing material for a future album, while Hoppus and the rest of the band members are at home, relaxing, and writing new material. On May 22, 2008 Hoppus was spotted with Angels and Airwaves bassist Ryan Sinn, at an Adidas clothing store in Los Angeles, California. Rumors say that the two bands have been working together secretly, maybe a possible 3-way Tour!OnJune 4th, 2008 in Hollywood, California, a +44 show began, the band kicked off with their debut single "When Your Heart Stops Beating", it came to a total shock to all the attendees, Tom Delonge came out onto the stage. He helped finish the song with +44. The crowd went wild! Delonge came out on stage with his trademark Blink attire, a grey Macbeth top, backward baseball cap, and 3-quarter length shorts, and his Fender Strat. They announced a 2009 north american tour, Canada and the U.S. After the first song, +44 left the stage happily, and the former Blink members played their old tunes. "Stay Together for the Kids", "Anthem pt. 2"...and finished an hour later with "Dammit". Fireworks went off in the 4,500 fan arena. So, you could expect Blink-182 by May of 2009, thats if nothing goes wrong.

DeLonge also mentioned ... that there are in fact two [Angels & Airwaves] albums in the pipeline, one will be a 'punk rock' album which will be "Just for the fun of it" according to Delonge and the second will return to the familiar epic sound of AVA
