Okay, so the fairly obvious firings have been executed. Randolph, McLaren and Gibbons are all out of jobs.

so now the question becomes, who will be the next manager to go during the season?

i say cooper..the astros are just TERRIBLE, and they dont have that bad of a team

bud black has an atrocious offense and no pitchers besides peavy and young (whos been hurt)

i went with Yost because he was on his way out the door before the Brewers turned it around and I imagine he'll get the boot if the Brewers fall back into their old ways.

cooper is possible, too .. but I wouldn't say the astros arent a bad team. i think were playing over their heads when they were hovering around .500. as long as he doesnt pull a mclaren-type press conference, I think he may last the season.

and black's option was picked up for 2009, so I think he may survive the year also. i tend to think the Padres arent THIS bad and may turn it around.

You think Clint Hurdle's job is in danger? The Rockies really fell of the table badly.

I went with Ned Yost.

I think Hurdle is O.K because of the pennant last year.

and its the same organization that stuck with dan o'dowd forever so i think Hurdle is safe.

If Hurdle goes, I'm pissed.

Yost will last through the season, but if the Brewers fail to make the playoffs, he will be fired.

Yost. Cecil Cooper is a relatively new hire and he's got the reverse bud black: Shitty pitching, decent offense.

Yost is the only one with reasonable expectations.

houston couldn't honestly think they were contenders and SD had/s injuries which is buds savior.

Houston is not a good team, and even though that's no fault of Cooper's, he'll be the one.
