What is everyone's feelings about this band? I can only find a few songs that I like, and there are maybe like 2 that I really can listen to off there "ugly organ" album. Gentleman Caller is one of the better ones that I like. I can't even really get into Saddle Creek that much .. But, I LOVE Bright Eyes, Cursive is just a little intense and all over the palce for me.

Incredible band. Tim Kasher is easily my favorite musician right now, and Cursive is amongst my favorites all-time.

Domestica, The Ugly Organ, and Storms of Early Summer: Semantics of Song, are all incredible.

I'll try to check out their other albums, I just had a really hard time getting into The Ugly Organ.

HOLY SHIT, i love Cursive, bright eyes kicks ass, and one of my favorites is DESAPARECIDOS...i just bought that cd...i can't take it out of my car.

Ya, the Shins are also awesome. Chutes To Narrow is easily in my top five from 2003. It's such a catchy, all-around solid, album.

cursive is amazing. i really love on the song "staying alive" that they redo the breakdown of "a gentleman caller" except they have pretty much all of saddle-creek records sing on it; like conor oburst, jenny lewis, and the lead singer of the faint.

that brings me to my point that the faint is also awesome.

I really can't get into Cursive either... I like red handed sleight of hand and gentleman caller. I love Bright Eyes and Desparecidos. I also don't mind The Shins, but this could be because one of their songs has my name in it haha... yes thats why.

cursive are truly amazing.

i saw them supporting the ataris (who i think are terrible), and they were great, though a lot of the kids who were there for the ataris were lookin round as if to say "what the fuck?"
