I love Thomas Newman, so The Shawshank Redemption, American Beauty, Road to Perdition, and Meet Joe Black are some of my favs.

The Lord of the Rings soundtrack.

The song played during the closing credits of The Two Towers ("Gollum's Song") is honestly now like one of my favorite songs ever. I think it's beautiful for some reason.

The score from Men of Honor is great, easily my favorite. The composer's name is Mark Isham. My favorite tracks are A Son Never Forgets, The Navy Diver, and Men of Honor.

Anything involving Jon Brion is spectacular.
Especially Punch-Drunk Love & Eternal Sunshine.

But the score by Angelo Badalamenti for The Straight Story was absolutely jaw dropping.
Also TDK's is classic.

When I watched this movie, I never really thought about the music. Then the other day I was in a coffee shop and it was playing, and now I'm horribly addicted to it. Amazing, amazing score by Tiersen. Love it to pieces, and it makes me want to watch the movie itself again.

I gotta say, after all the uproar of There Will Be Blood not being nominated for Best Score, in my opinion it still should've gone to Atonement (if TWBB had been nominated). One of the most original and beautiful scores i've ever heard.

I got the Into The Wild Soundtrack. It's a good way to mellow me out.

I saw Eddie Vedder play a solo show about 2 weeks ago. He played the whole soundtrack and it was incredible. What an amazing song writer.

Good call. This was actually the first time I heard Radiohead's How To Disappear Completely and it was heartbreaking. Love all the Guster tracks too.

The Life Aquatic had David Bowie, Devo, Mark Mothersbaugh, and Seu Jorge. They also had Starálfur by Sigur Rós, but it wasn't on the soundtrack.

As far as soundtracks go I don't pick up a lot. I like the Judgement night soundtrack and the Singles soundtrack has State Of Love And Trust, the best Pearl Jam song ever on it so that's preety cool as well.

I gotta say, the Superman score by John Williams has to be one of the best of all time.

I really like his score to War of the Worlds too. The piece where the tripods first come out of the ground sets the tone perfectly.

anything by hans zimmer basically. i love his work especially on the holiday. i know alot of people like john williams, but im not really a big fan. i guess its because in high school, we(the band) played alot of pieces

Yann Tiersen's Amelie for scores.
The Boat that Rocked had a pretty good soundtrack. Some good The Who and The Kinks tracks, a lot of good sixites/seventies tracks on there. Across the Universe is really good, lots of great Beatles covers. Walk the Line is good too, Joaquin Pheonix sounds quite like Johnny Cash.
