Boo and Boo Too - Self-titled
Record Label: Ironpaw Records
Release Date: May 22, 2007

Who:

Lawrence, Kansas based sextet who have shared the stage with Broken Social Scene, Death Cab For Cutie, and Bound Stems.

How Is It?

Boo & Boo Too’s self-titled debut is a collection of four post-punk leaning songs that begins with “Everyday I Saw You In Egypt”, which is driven by buzzing guitars and shouted vocals and will be sure to log many plays on your iTunes. In the early moments of “Couch On Fire“, the band breaks into a tambourine solo complete with a group sing-a-long. Boo & Boo Too is an album that is raw and at times revels in reckless abandon, and that is what makes the album so appealing. The only thing that is wrong with this EP is that it is over almost as soon as it begins, but thankfully the band has a full-length in the works for release in the fall. Buzz has already started to build around this band and it will only grow after the release of No Tempo.
