Explosions In The Sky Vs. Brand New

I'm going to Lollapalooza this year, and both Brand new and Explosions In The Sky are playing at the same time. I've seen both bands before, and I've seen them both in a sold out setting at that, but I was wondering, who would you pick if you had the option? And also, let's say that you can't see half of each band's set.

Go with EITS; Brand New aren't as good in a festival setting. Personally, I hate seeing parts of sets so I would just see all of EITS.

I've never even listened to Explosions in the sky, and I'd pick them over Brand New. I saw BN at Bamboozle last year, after waiting years to see them and it was the most annoying, egotistical bullshit they could have ever pulled. Fuck that noise.

I was in the same conflict as you, but I got tickets for the Brand new/ Manchester Orchestra after show on Friday night, so I'm seeing Explosions. Saturday's going to be an awesome day: Margot and the Nuclear So and So's, Dr Dog, Steel Train, EITS, Okkervil River, Broken Social Scene, and Rage Against the Machine.
