Coldplay will be out of the public eye this year and will not be releasing the follow up to A Rush of Blood To The Head until next year. You can read the article on that and Chris Martin's stance on fair trade here (http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1485667/20040310/coldplay.jhtml?headlines=true).

If this next album is just as great or better than "A Rush of Blood To The Head", Coldplay will be among one of the greatest British bands ever. Right up there with U2, Elton John, and The Who. And no, I do not count the Beatles as one of the greatest British rock bands. They are the greatest band ever. Categorizing them into geographical greatness would be idiotic.

I don't see how a band not releasing an album is news. Thanks for acting as the source to yet another pointless news post, MTV! Always appreciated.

How about 'cause ppl WERE expecting it THIS year and it still gives an update what Coldplay is attempting to do w/ their next record

Fair enough, the post should just be tweaked in that case. But hey, you're the news poster.
