did anyone go to the house of blues hollywood show on march 5? that was absolutely the most horrible saves the day show ever. not to mention the biggest waste of time and gas money. i've been a saves the day fan for over five years and i think anyone who has followed them as long as me or longer will agree with this post. they play not 1 old song. not ONE !!! they might as well have put the "in reverie" cd in and played it from start to finish. oh, they did play a couple off of "stay what you are", but about halfway through the set i was asking myself if "can't slow down" or "through being cool" were even albums put out by this band. that's all i have to say.

Well, when In Reverie came out STD did an interview with Alt. Press and said they wouldn't be doing and Can't Slow Down because Chris Conley is the only member of the band still left from the original STD group and he didn't want everyone(cept for him) to be playing something that they didn't contribute to in the first place. Of course, not everyone in the band now was in the band for Through Being Cool or Stay What Your Are. As for Through Being Cool stuff I don't know what to tell ya. How was Granddaddy? I've never heard of them.

grandaddy was alright. nothing really to rant and rave about. as for "through being cool", many different bands have gone through many different lineup changes and still manage to play songs prior to their new albums. i just think it was a poor choice by the group to neglect the audience that was their to see the real saves the day.
