If you appreciate diverse and mature songwriting, Jupiter Sunrise (http://www.jupitersunrise.net) are a band totally worth checking out. Their recent release Under A Killer Blue Sky is something I never saw coming. Not exactly my style, but I know something special when I hear it too.

I know plugs should be reserved for our Sunday Recommendations, but this band needs recognition. now.-CM

hehe, they played in a quad at my college fall 02 to about 20 people. good stuff.

::gasp:: a good band from Louisiana!?! Never saw it coming. I might get to see them play on Monday at some guys house in Chalmette.
