Survay Says is the name of my ska/punk/rap band I'm in. We're fairly new, maybe 2 months old. We take influences for Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish, Streetlight Manifesto, Big D and the Kids Table, The Academy Is..., The New Pornographers, etc.

The band line up is...:
Jon Kluska - Lead singing vocals
Henry Menzel - Rhythm guitar, backing vocals, engineer
Charlie Yankowski [me] - Spoken word vocals, keyboards
D.Jay Menzel - Bass and lead guitar [he switches off]
Eddie Lippincott - Alto Sax
Dan Schuster - Trumpet
Ryan Fenton - Drums/percussion
Michael Fenton - Alt. Bass

We have a couple recorded songs currently. So far we have...:
Brining Shightly aka Distant Thunder
Wonderful Day aka Parenthesis
Lame aka Our Friends Had Fun At Prom While We Made This

We have one cover recorded, sorta just a demo to test our equipment...:
Ever Fallen In Love [With Someone You Shouldn't Have] originally by The Buzzcocks

We are also currently working on at least 5 other originals including ones called...:
Apathy is My Ambition
The Dishwasher's Lament

We also have many covers that we're learning but probably won't record, just play live.

So, take a listen. Let me know what you think on this forum. Also add us if you like us. Keep an ear open for more releases coming soon.

Thanks for listening!

The band line-up is now:
Kevin Danilowski - Lead singing vocals
Henry Menzel - Rhythm guitar, backing vocals, engineer
Charlie Yankowski [me] - Rap vocals, keyboards, synth
D.Jay Menzel - Bass, lead guitar, trombone, clarinet

We have a full LP worth of studio recordings and are planning a CD release party at The Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg, PA on July 25th, 2009. Since fully playing live shows this past January, we have shared the stage with acts like Patent Pending, Valencia, Echo Movement, Kelsey and The Chaos, Pull the Pin, Fear Nuttin Band, Slightly Askew, and many more. Bumping yet again. I know this site is primarily emo/hardcore...but if you like pop punk or ska or reggae or music in general, you'll like my band. Take a listen

do you mean Survey Says?

PS: the recording quality of the songs sound pretty decent. the recordings are pretty sloppy though. but, like most ska stuff, its probably better live.
