which band do you think have singers that mix well and adjust to the music better.??
these are the choices that first came to my mind, sorry if im missing any important bands.
my personal choice is FYS, the strength of the voices go incredibly well with the beat and pace of their songs

why is Panic on this list?

So Ryan Ross sang a couple of songs. Weezer's backup band sung on their new album, Jimmy Eat Worlds second guitarist sang on a song.

if panic is in there, all those others have to be.

In my opinion, Nolan is better then Fred because Nolan was there for TAYF (and just because i think Nolan kicks ass).

Woah woah back up son. I never said the vocalists in The Hush Sound weren't talented. I love The Hush Sound, but old school TBS defined a genre in a way.Ok, I'm sorry for the moronx2 now that you are willing to cooperate. Hah. I understand that TBS defined a genre in a way, but it doesn't mean that old TBS consisted of a more talented pair of vocalists (or, that I "like old TBS more" to return to the original point of the poll). Adam Lazzara is a great frontman and John Nolan gave TBS that extra kick that they've been lacking on every album post-TAYF, but The Hush Sound is one of the most underrated bands out there and both of their vocalists have greater singing abilities than either of the the Taking Back Sunday Class of 2002.

TBS's tell all your friends contains the most well orchestrated double vocals ever. and the contrast of voices between the high, youthful, earnest voice of adam and the raw, raspy, pained voice of john extends the effect. this is the only right answer.

The Hush Sound.
They sound great no mater who is singing what.
Chris and Darren sound great backing Bob, when all three guys sing backup for Greta, they give the songs a unique twist, and Bob and Greta sound great singing lead together.

but I've got to give Panic props. Brendon, Jon, and Ryan's voices blend together really well, so they have some great sounding three part harmonies.

That's Tim Armstrong from Rancid, who was also in The Transplants. Jordan from NFG is also on that track, but he's pulled back pretty far in the mix.

My choices would be five that aren't on the poll.

Mark & Tom -Blink-182

Matt & Dan - Alkaline Trio

Matt & Jim - The Get Up Kids

Brendan & Chris - The Lawrence Arms

Chris & Roger - Less Than Jake

Edit: I kept this limited to more modern bands, otherwise there would be plenty more, ie:

Lennon/McCartney/Harrison/Starr - The Beatles,

Ian & Guy - Fugazi,

Roger & Pete - The Who, etc.

The correct answer is Jon Auer and Ken Stringfellow of The Posies. If you know of any two guys who can harmonize better than them I'd love to hear it. And if you haven't heard The Posies then you should probably get on that ASAP.

As for bands that would probably fit in more with the listening tastes here than The Posies, what about Straylight Run? I know Michelle isn't in the band anymore, but I always thought they worked together nicely.

Out of the bands on that list, I'm tempted to go with The Hush Sound, but I have my reservations. They're both really good singers and really good songwriters, but they don't really blend very often or very well. Most of the time it's just one of them singing, and when they harmonize it's nothing too special. I like some of their arrangements, but I'm a sucker for a good harmony line and they don't do enough of that for my liking. And I'm sure I'll catch hell from their fans, but I think Bob kinda drags them down these days. Greta's voice has improved so much and she's really growing into this soulful jazzy style, meanwhile he's still stuck in Fueled By Ramen Land.
