SOOOOOO WEAK!!! I knew this band could NOT do anything without AJ. They just don't want to admit it and are just trying to keep the band alive instead of moving on with life. And this new guitarist...are you serious??? The guy's playing is nothing impressive and his writing is....horrific. Trying too hard to be technical and just throwing in random sweeps and taps to impress people. His lead work has no thought put into it whatsoever, just mindless sweeps and scale runs...and then some disgusting sounding bends.
Let's talk about production.... Sounds like a poor first demo for a local band...at best. Not a second full length from an accomplished band. In the studio video you could tell the fat bald dude producing it had no clue what to do with modern metal. GO BACK TO JAMIE KING!!
They aren't getting the myspace plays that a band as big as they are should be getting when they post a new song and they are probably deleting/not allowing all the negative comments people post. Now this band is probably in debt from recording the CD and is gonna try to tour. People will stick around to see how the new guitarist sounds and leave after A) They don't play any old stuff and realize the new stuff sucks or B) Realize the new dude just isn't good.
Bands like this need to get a clue. You can't just replace a guitarist like AJ Minette, the dude's a brilliant player and a brilliant writer. This band will break up in a year or less.
