Regarding Cigarettes

I'm torn on smoking, always have thought it was disgusting habit, which it is, but i find myself from time to time lighting up a cigarrette and having a smoke. Is there such thing as the casual smoker? or is it an addiction or nothing type of stance. i dont consider myself addicted if i smoke like 2-3 each week.

There is such a thing as a casual smoker, but theyre fairly rare I think. I used to be like you, just lighting up once or twice a week, but after that, you start to pick up more and more. I finally quit, but it was hard. I suggest you quit while you still can.

I think that if you can't just stop smoking...you are addicted. No matter how many or little you smoke.

It depends on the person. Some people have what is called an "addictive personality".

I think that very very few people can be what you call a casual smoker, and there's no way to tell beforehand if you might be lucky enough to be one of those people.

That's why I stay away. I have no idea how far my physiological or psychological characteristics would take me.

i used to smoke a pack a day,it was hell quitting,got the sweats and either i couldn't sleep or i couldn't stay awake and i was real irratible for a few weeks,quit before it's a pain in the ass to do it.
