Hellogoodbye (http://www.hellogoodbye.net) are looking for a DRUMMER. The band loves their current drummer, but he isn't ready to leave college and tour full time. The band is looking for someone at least 18 years old with a few years drumming experience, has played with other bands, must be available for full time touring/practicing, it is prefrable that the person lives in Orange County, CA but if not, they would be willing to relocate there. They would PREFER if the person does no drugs, and little to no drinking or smoking. You also must have an easy going personality and like to have fun. Please do not even apply unless you are 100% sure you can commit to this position if you are chosen. what ridculous credentials, it shouldnt matter if a person does drugs, drinks etc. as long as theyre gonna make the band better....even if it says "prefer", it shouldnt even be an issue.....lame

I wouldn't want a person that drinks or does drugs in my band. Excessive drinking and drugs could lead to conflicts which could lead a possible break-up.

what's wrong with not wanting someone who doesn't do drugs or drink? because that shit DOES cause problems. not all the time, but if the other members don't do it, they probably don't want someone who's gonna be drunk or stoned off their ass.

Yeah... no one that drinks or does drugs is gonna be in any band of mine. First off I don't agree with it, second it's not good for you, and third it's gonna cause problems in the band...

All bands ask for photos in these situations. I doubt if you're a band of 18 year olds that you want a 12 year old who thinks he can play drums or a middle aged man trying to be cool. But then again,it sometimes adds a funny dynamic to the band.

Asking for a photo is actually a very professional thing to do. When looking for new members in your band, ALWAYS ask for a photo and a tape of them playing something, even if it's just for a minute or two. If they go through the trouble to do this, you know that they're actually motivated to do this hardcore and not just somebody looking for a band to dick around with once a month.

you are forgetting one thing, this band sucks. lots of empty slots available out there for drummers...
