God, I hate Vin Diesel. The only film I have been able to stand him in was Boiler Room, maybe because I hadn't seen any of his terrible roles in other films.

I thought he was pretty decent in Pitch Black and Riddick as well, his best film has to be the Iron Giant , although that was only vocal work. I just think he seems like a cool guy who just gets stuck in poor films. Not that he's a great actor.

Pitch Black holds the award for being one of the only films I haven't been able to make it through. I have it tucked away on VHS somewhere, haha.

I remember when I first saw a preview for this during the Curious Case... I got really excited that both Vin Diesel and Paul Walker are back hahaha

I loved the first one.

Then, like all too many sequels, the writers went crazy with what they thought the viewer wanted to see. They got too mainstream (I can't really think of a better word for it) and lost that original feel to it from the first one.

I have no idea how to explain it but this one looks pretty promising.

3 was a stupid ass story and had "bow wow" and he was super shitty. Plus the lead actor isn't that good. The story was lame and the driving looked like a video game. Only two movies that matter in this series are the first and fourth.

Adventureland is a low-budget comedy which brings in money from word of mouth. Fast & Furious makes all its money in one weekend, then gradually makes less and less.
