I botched my recommendations. The Weakend (http://www.theweakend.com) were suppose to make their way on my list as well. Anyway, this is definitely a great standout band as well. Blah blah blah. You can check them out at their site or at their pureVOLUME page (http://www.purevolume.com/theweakend). Feedback is always appreciated.

MI represent! a friend of mine brought in a cd of some of their songs to school the other day and it sounds sooo dope, there was one with violin in it, it was swell. After listening to two songs Im already liking this band alot.

thanks for the awesome recommendation.

please keep in mind that the two songs on the purevolume site for the weakend are still unmastered, and stay tuned for a release date on the ep, it should be available a few places online, possibly some indie stores as well.

more from silent movie records (website coming soon):

I didn't like them. I'd give reasons backing it up why but right now I'm listening to Death Cab and it's erasing any badness I can remember.

I think Scary Kids or ETID would do the trick as well.
