I know we have to have some closet Ani fans around here, so come out of hiding. Favorite albums? Anyone seen her live? Comments on her guitar playing? How important do you think feminism has been in her popularity? All that good stuff. Have at it.

I think I like Not A Pretty Girl best, with Dilate in second.

I've seen her live, but it was so many years ago that I don't remember much, I was probably about 16.

I have a couple of her albums downloaded, but I've only listened to them only a few times... She's alright, but I have to be in the mood to listen to her.

I used to love her but I got bored of her and I've never gotten completely sick and bored of any artist that I was really into before.

In the late 90's a few of my friends listened to her religiously. I never really got into her music much to be honest.

My wife is really big into her she's her favorite artist. She's not a bad songwriter, though her voice can get annoying after an extended period of time. She's a fantastic guitar player, though.

I <3 Ani Difranco. I've been a fan for years now and don't ever seem to get sick of her.

This.
When I am in the mood to listen though, my favorite is easily Dilate. I think she has a lot of talent, she's just so ADD about it and sometimes her agenda is a bit much for me. When I'm willing to put up with all that, she's great, but I don't come back to her music as much as I do others.

I'm actually in the process of downloading it... 20th release since 1990 is pretty impressive if I do say so myself.
