What do you guys think? I honestly think the lyrics are becoming a LOT better.

Will the new record beat out Sticks&Stones, or will this prove to be just a follow up to that piece of crap as so many proclaim it?

I love the new song.

And I really enjoyed Sticks and Stones and I imagine the new album will be just as good in my opinion.

I love NFG as much as everyone but I thought Sticks and Stones was their worst album, and I shouldn't say "worst" because it's still good.
1-Nothing Gold Can Stay

i love the "all about the girls" ep but i'm not too keen on "from the screen to your stereo" ep....

hmm, i thought jordans voice sounded really horrible on that ep... but maybe thats just me :oneeye:

no you're right and the quality is a little off but i liked it for what it was....

yeah, maybe if it was recorded under more admirable circumstances, and also Jordan has just generally improved loads since then. Im still not so sure about his voice live though, i mean, its not bad but i would generally expect slightly better from a band of their status.

The new song is one of their best, lyrically and musically. I love the acoustic part in the last chorus.

Does anyone know why Chad Gilbert is in jail for 2 years? I dont know if its already been a thread or anything, im just a bit puzzled.

Chad, hes in jail for 2 years. Theres and interview with him in jail in the "Videos" section of their website. He says he's in there for 2 years, but leaves out why. http://www.newfoundglory.com/downloads/VIDEO.asp

It's like when Blink said they were going to Fiji to record. They never did. It's just to keep fans occupied and to keep the whole NFG thing interesting. I admit, if it is a joke it is a sick one and I bet a lot of fans will be angry at them for it.

Great song. NFG has never let me down. The new album will be equal to the S/T, but nothing can beat the S/T, in my opinion.

Uh, if any of the NFG albums were over-produced it was Sticks and Stones.

The Self-Titled had a sketchier/more raw sound than Sticks and Stones. There's no doubt about that.
