Yeah, it's the same people that did COD3. They're saying COD3 had 7 months to build, whereas this one was two years in the making.

i just dont understand why they are going back to world war II. why can't we have another modern warfare game? the WWII thing is so played out. its tiresome. modern warfare was great because it was a breath of fresh air and executed perfectly. we don't need another game like this on the market. i dont care who makes it.

Exactly, and how can they not realise this, I'm sure i read that Call of Duty 4 was the top selling game of 2007.

Also I don't think this is Call of Duty 5.... just Call of Duty: Word at War.

So maybe Call of Duty 5 will continue the modern warfare stuff... I dunno.

Mine did too, and I was furious at first, but now I realize it was the greatest thing to ever happen to me. I was still under warranty, so I sent it away, and it only took a week to get back to me. When it arrived, I realized it was a brand new system with "updated hardware," and they fixed this annoying sound my disc tray used to make when I opened it, and I got a free month of Xbox Live out of it.

This is a game 2 years in the making. They started a year before COD4 came out. It was to late to change the story.

so far its entertaining, but it does look "cartoonish"...im glad that they fixed the glitch in roundhouse, plus the four player online coop nazi zombie survival mode looks intriguing....

with the amount of games that are coming out...COD will have to wait if I even get it at all. I have COD4 and I don't think this will be that different to warrant a purchase.
