I actually made a CD like this last year when I left for school just about like friends/memories/etc. These might not be specifically about 'going to college' but here are some of my suggestions...

Soco Amaretto Lime -- Brand New

Doesn't Relient K have a song called like "College Kids" or something? I can't remember....

But the one college song that is my personal favorite is, "Don't Forget To Remember Me" by Carrie Underwood. I know it's country, but it's really good. It is essential to any leaving home playlist in my opinion.
