I have never been able to enjoy this bands music for some reason...what do you think about them?
I agree with you, I dont understand the hype. I have hear 1 decent song and that was the song from the Warped Tour cd. But ill never buy a cd or never listen to another song.

at first, i wasn't into them, because they were really popular. call me a snob, but it seems that the more popular a band is, the more it sucks.
but a listened to a couple songs and they were really good, not really like any thing i've heard. and some songs from their new album are really catchy. i like their singer.

Coheed and Cambria are an amazing band, claudio is an amazing singer, and the band writes intricately woven beautiful music. You guys need to recognize, half of you are jumping on the band wagon while the other half is jumping off. Learn to stick with something, they'll eventually not be cool again. Then it won't hurt your image to admit to listening to them.
what? quiet you. There's always one of you around. It's not that we're suddenly hating the band...we're the people who were NEVER on the "bandwagon" or whatever. It's not like we see some guy with a co&ca shirt and decide to hate em...we just never saw what the big deal was about em from the start. Yeah, I think it's pretty rad that the lyrics make a story. But that aside, I just love the music, and people always talk about Claudio shrieking like a girl, but he really does have a very good range... I don't know, I love them, so I'm biased.

I think Coheed is amazing, partly because they are so original. What other band can you think of that has vocals and song structure like that? When they came out, they were the only band with their sound and it was nice for a change, since these days 3 out of 5 bands sound alike. So whether you like them or you don't, you at least have to admit they are pretty creative.

everyone claims to know music so well here, i love taking back sunday and brand new but there actual intrumentals are nothing special, they can write music well and sound awesome, but coheed is musically one of the best punk bands right now, anyone who plays guitar or an other intrstrument should know what im talking about :musik010:

Well i love them. Think about his voice... it isnt nearly as anoying as sum of the voices about on the radio, if u really get into their music, the feal of it, the lyrics and the way everything they write atributes to their story (the whole idea of that is totally different from other bands - so you've gotta repect them for that and at least give them a shot)

Wow i cant believe what i am reading. Coheed is one of the most amazing bands out there today. Incredible musicians. And Claudios range is amazing. It really sucks that they are so popular now but check out their first album. Im sure you've never heard anything like it.
