Hands down, my all time favorite (as it has been for many years) is Counting Crows. After that, either Dispatch or Coheed. A bit random, I know.

i would have to say Finger Eleven...Ive never disliked one of their songs, they always are changing stuff up, and they never fail to amaze me with what they do....plus they have staying power...Ive been a huge fan since 1997 and they have always been nice to me(i usually hang with them after all shows in Wisconsin)

Because i can listen to either of their albums depending on the mood i'm in, and they're both incredible in my opinion. And another reason is that their singer has a great voice, and the lyrics to the songs i kinda relate to.

I used to love Brand New... they were my favorite band for a really long time, from when Your Favorite Weapon came out up until a few months ago -- and then a girl (my ex-best friend) ruined them for me. I just can't listen to them anymore... too much baggage comes with their music... just brings back too many memories I want to forget about. So yea, that's my spill on Jesse Lacey and the boys. Oh yea, same thing with Dashboard. Every time I hear Chris, I want to stab the speakers and smash the CDs.

NFG, Something Corporate, or 2pac ( he isnt a punk band or even a band, I know ) I love his music though because the majority of it is about his real life, not money, hoes and rims.

his lyrics are all written from inside. and not about superficial things

Exactly, my other favorite rap artist is Talib Kweli ( spelling? ) and I love Kayne West. Eminem is good too, but nothing can compare to 2pac.

For my current favorite band of all time (besides Blink), Jesse, Vinnie, Brian and Garrett from Brand New are awesome song writers and Jesse is just an incredible human being. I hate how everyone’s favorite band is Brand New though... It kind of seems like everyone is jumping on the Brand New bandwagon or something.

And my current current favorite band right now is Name Taken and Northstar. IT’S IMPOSSIBLE TO PICK FAVORITE BANDS STOP MAKING ME POST THESE!

yea, Jay Z is good, but he always brags on himself, but he can, just that gets on my nerves sometimes, but I do like him. Rakim, he was older so I really dont konw his stuff. Dr. Dre is the best producer of rap music. I guess I'll stop talking about rap though, this is a punk site, haha, I'm done.

Its not that its a band wagon. its just that their music is so incredibly good... its difficult to not like them...

i don't know how you guys can pick bands that you've been listening to for like a year or so... i mean, i love dashboard and brand new, but i've only listened to them for the past couple years so i can't really say they're my favorite bands of all time..

i gotta go with sublime or smashing pumpkins, or 311. i've had their cds since i was in middle school, they're the bands that got me listening to any kind of music at all.. and i never get tired to listening to any of them
