Amazing, amazing funk and soul band from.. new jersey. if you're a fan of sly & the family stone or earth, wind, and fire, you will definitely love these guys. these recordings do not do them justice at all, they are definitely a band that are best seen live. any fans?

sooo good on the guitar. i checked unclassified a while back & should probably get on to picking up colourblind soon. jammin' rhythms that get ya groovin'
although sometimes i don't like the vocals. not that they're bad, just don't always fit the music. might just be me

They sound like my type of band judging by the videos. I'll check out an album or two. Which one should I start with?

They did a pretty good job promoting Colorblind, I hope this next album does just as well.

I saw a concert on TV featuring this band and I def took notice. Pretty good stuff. Anyone got a recc on which album I should start with?

Colorblind is probably their most accessible. Let me know if you have trouble finding it though. 'Ain't Nothing Wrong With That' is probably the song they're most known for (I could be wrong though?). Such high energy in absolutely everything they do, Katie you'll definitely love this album.

Old thread is old but I just discovered these guys yesterday and damn....I was blown away. Their new CD, Walk This Road, is absolutely phenomenal. I advise everyone to check this out.

Argh, so did I. I was anticipating it for ages, but it kept getting pushed back & back & back, until I eventually completely forgot about it! Damn I bet it's good.

You are completely correct in that assumption. I've been looking for a band like this and they're absolutely phenomenal.

Is that Ben Harper on "If I Had My Way"? LOVE it.

I'm almost getting a Derek Trucks feel (guitar wise obviously) on moments during this album...

I remember Conan had these guys play on Late Night like 2 or 3 times. I always got a kick out of watching them perform.
